Defender Black EDC Strap 1.50" [38mm]

This is my 2nd EDC Nextbelt, it is the best I have tried. This belt can take whatever you can give it.

I will give the strap a 5, but the service is more of a 2-3 range. I called Nexbelt customer service to see if the EDC strap would fit my existing buckle and was told yes. Unfortunately I found out that is not the case! The EDC strap is 1/16th wider than the buckle allows. I forced the non EDC buckle to clamp onto the EDC strap but it would not go through the ratchet section of the buckle. I could force it, but then I believe the strap edges would breakdown faster than it should. So, I have a great strap and no buckle until the new one arrives!

Unfortunately, the width of the belt has changed from 1 3/8 to 1 1/2 inches but doesn’t indicate this fact on their website. As such, it doesn’t fit in my old buckle that I bought the belt for. My biggest complaint is Nexbelt’s customer service was no help and very difficult to deal with. The rep, Algie Salmontina just kept asking me to send photos that I previously sent and repeated themselves without offering any solution. I’m going to be returning the belt and buying their competitor’s.
